Emma & Luke

Emma & Luke

Today’s blog post tells you the story of Emma and Luke, who met when Emma was studying to become a teacher. In Ireland, you must spend three weeks in Gaeltacht, an Irish speaking region, to learn Irish. The day she arrived she was driving her car up to the front door of the house where she would be staying for a few weeks. Within a few minutes of arriving, she was asked to reverse down the driveway, which was not her “strongest talent”. From the distance, her now husband, Luke, was sitting in the garden finding amusement out of her erratic driving. She soon discovered he was the son of the homeowner and fast forward 10 years, they are happily married.

On August 17, 2018 Emma walked down the aisle to ‘A Million Dreams’ as she is so excited to live out their dreams together. Emma looked beautiful wearing our Eve Gown. She purchased the gown from Folkster Bridal in Kilkenny, Ireland. “People say your initial idea of what dress you will wear is always opposite to that you choose. I certainly did not fit that mold, I knew what I was looking for. I found it difficult to find a gown that matched my personality and my fashion type. My maid of honour suggested I look at Don O’Neill’s designs as it suited my brief and when I saw the Eve Gown I was instantly drawn to it. It was minimalistic, fashion forward and timeless, all of which I was looking for in a dress.

Enjoy! Congrats to Emma and Luke!
